About Astrill & setup help
Astrill is a VPN service that has been operating since 2009, built originally for travelers and people living abroad who needed a stable way to stay connected to services back home. Over the years it has grown into one of the more established names in the personal VPN space, with a large server network and a reputation for working reliably even in restrictive network environments.
The service is built around giving each user a number of connection methods rather than just one, since different networks respond differently depending on the country and the network operator. Astrill supports several VPN protocols, including more "stealth-oriented" ones designed specifically to remain usable on networks that actively try to detect and block VPN traffic — which is one of the main reasons it has stayed popular with users based in China.
As an authorized reseller, GoAstr provides access to this same official Astrill service — every account we activate is a genuine Astrill subscription, not a modified or shared version. This page is meant as a quick orientation: what Astrill supports, and where to go to get set up.
